A little History

The Glennville Recreation Department was established in 1978. In October 1986, it was named in honor of H. Prentice Kicklighter, who was known as "Mr. Recreation" in Glennville. The park consists of 62 acres of land with a 10 acre pond. It has 6 baseball/softball fields, 3 picnic pavilions, 4 tennis courts, 2 basketball courts and 2 playground areas. There are programs for Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Football and Soccer for youth and adults.
